I've been a half-life mapper for years now and I'd like to promote my first ever mod titled Xen-Crisis, so yeah its been promoted. moddb moddb.com/mods/xen-crisis website sites.google.com/view/xcteamweb/… Edit: Can't believe The Jane Thrace actually liked my post, this is bonkers.
In 2003, for a school project about nuclear power plants, I created an Half Life mod (a few maps, custom textures, skins and sounds). Where the player goes on a guided tour of a nuclear power plant. One particular map that I am proud of is a sliced view of the core. The player can only look around, its XYZ position is controlled by an invisible object moving the player as the narration explains the different parts. Locations so far of the alien mod.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by for the stream! Here's the updated shotgun model, some updated animations, and model blood effect that were worked on.
"You take one look around that corner, and you'll know what you're in for." Signal Lost now utilizes the Aurora particle system for countless environmental effects, and the model based lighting effects from Starlight. WIP as always!💙
Air ducts and red lights just belong together. Change my mind.
A little while ago I experimented with hand drawn textures + detail textures. Nothing came of it, but it still was an interesting experience.
After many days (7 to 8 Days), The place is finally done to be shown in it's fuller glory. This is what the outside of the place looked like.
If you ever need to dissect some nasty aliens, I've got just the place for you.
