I made different skins for the DOD Colt 1911 model, while trying to mantaint the same well-worn look on it. The idea would be to make the player constantly have to switch his gun while in gameplay. So, to avoid having the same Colt over and over again, a system would randomize the skin, maybe even one of them being restricted to a certain map, location or event. DoD_Donner was one of the most balanced and intense urban warfare maps in Day of Defeat. With tight street fights, key choke points, and sniper duels, it was the perfect blend of strategy and action. Unlike the open battlefields and beach landings, Chemille was all about tight street fights, house-to-house combat, and brutal chokepoints. If you weren’t watching your angles, you were already dead. I decided to do a redesign on the menu background for my mod, this one looks so much better than the previous design. However, this most likely wont be the final design, let alone that I still have not started major development on this mod.
