{github.com/Gistix/portal2vr/rele…} A modder un…

# Changelog for this week in the vscript for the mod "Project Capture": Well, I think it's worth noting that this whole month is focused on the technical side of the mod, so for the entirety of this month I'll only be working on script mechanics, pcapture-lib, pseudo-entities, etc. Therefore, I think until the end of this month I'll keep a sort of small "devblog" on code changes, with a brief changelog and superficial demonstration of what the PCapture mechanics consist of 😊 # CHANGELOG ### …
Roboloader the model design of which you can consider right now. Especially for modification Out of Aperture from Gamefinity.
In this demonstration I'm only showing one object with the chromatic aberration effect, but the script works with any number of objects, and each can have its own custom behavior setting. To implement it, I lerp the positions of the colored objects to animate the distortion effect over time. I also modify their alpha values to fade them in and out, and I procedurally change the offset vectors using "noise functions" to add variability to the aberration
Finally figured out how to 1. create custom particle effects. 2. pack custom particle effects into my maps. Huge thanks to TeamSpen210 helping me figure out how to pack this!
This is what happens when a barnacle tries to eat a rocket turret (wasn't aware they could do that)

Decided to make some more custom textures, tried to give them this "worn" effect (stained and partially translucent). I think it turned out pretty okay for my first attempt!
