I'm going to go on a bit of a rant, so scroll by if you don't feel like reading In the Half-Life, Portal, and L4D timelines, Counter-Strike is sort of like a universal constant there will always be terrorists, and therefore always be counter-terrorists, so Counter-Strike takes place in multiple timeline, this is just a head cannon after all, but I thought I might as well share it.

Well, I was wondering if something similar could be said about the rocket turret in Portal 2. I mean, even if we don't see it in Portal 2, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore.
