In Episode 2's development, fast zombies used to be able to jump onto the jalopy and attack the player while they are inside. This is partially used in the final game, but the code for it's full functionality has been broken since 2006. I've been trying to fix it for 3 years until just now.
Here's a very different and strange Xash3D mod - Quake Remake. This is a full port of Quake 1 to goldsrc via Xash3D. What makes it especially interesting in my eyes is just how much goldsrc DNA you can feel in the game. I know that Trenchbroom's HL support is a WIP but I'm wondering if anyone here is using it already? I've made a lot of Doom maps, mods, TCs and Quake maps and I really, really want to make some HL maps but I want to use TB because it's just so fast, efficient and fun to use. I have used JACK before for HL mapping but that was before trying TB and I just can't go backwards now. I'm thinking to maybe do the geometry in TB as a Quake map but use a HL wad and then add the entities in JACK, curious…
