Since this is the week leading up to Half Life 2's 20th Anniversary, I thought of posting a few drawing that I had done, those being from 3 years ago and a few recent ones. Unfortunatly the actual poster for the 20th Anniversary will have to be delayed due to school taking alot of my time...but it will be finished. So to start, I thought of posting my first accurate Freeman drawing.
Sooooo TODAY... is the 3rd of November...and we all why this day is so special (aside from it being Godzilla day, most speficically the 70th Anniversary) but atlast. Today our dear Lord and Savior Mr Gabe Newell is having his 62nd birthday! Happy birthday Gabe Newell, if it wans't for you we maybe would have never formed this community nor have the amazing games that have been going since 1998. Thank You.

First attempt at making Chell from Portal (2007), really was to understand the design. I made a lot of these to understand the character designs, especially from Half Life.

Took these picture some months ago... I thought it looked like the final levels of Water Hazard right before arrving into Black Mesa East...and also it looked like the E3 Randal Pond map.

Okay...so Gordon's texture in Half Life 2 was made using 4 Valve employees, but I have a feeling that they used the Greg Coomer + Kailey Bailey to create his head and face for the model...might be stating the obvious but hey. *making this post because I want to make an accurate Gordon Freeman, not only the face but the HEV suit aswell.*

Since today is the spookiest day of the year...here's some more old Half Life art of cut enemies from the game....yes they were made less than 4 more than 2 years )they're unfinished if it wasn't obvious 😅).
Did this earlier this year, its the combine ambush right before Alyx gets caputered. First time I played throught this part I was a bit pissed because I died several times....but I like that Brain Scan plays in this part...
Two more for today, these are the Concept Art Metrocops from Half Life 2. I remember when I did these guys I was so proud of how they looked, the light and shadows looked really good at the time... Funny fact, I used the first one for a 1984 poster I did for school hahaha #HL2-20
