Drew the Stalker concept art from Half Life 2...this was a rather quick sketch, but I thought it looks good. I still have a couple of unfinished pieces of artwork that when they get eventually finished, I will publish them.
I unfortunately due to some course works, was not able to make a proper homage to the late Viktor Antonov. Yet, I had this unpublished piece of art (which in fact was meant for a school assignment), and I thought it fitted the vibe of Antonov's work in Half Life 2...of course this was an homage to the Lonely Road artwork but still...

I received some very sad News early this morning...The visionary art direct for Half Life 2, Viktor Antonov has passed away. The incredible visionary, creative and amazing artits was the one responsible for making Half Life 2 what is it today, along with the Valve team. I was out yesterday and I pratically found a level from Water Hazard, ignoring the grass and trees that are pretty much alive and they should be dead if it was game accurate but anyway. And to help the sky was cloudy Note: A small history lesson but an interesting fact nonetheless is that, the river in the picture is were the first ruler of the Empire of Brazil at the time declared independence for the country.

Took this screenshot on Garry's Mod from one of the final levels before the Glados Boss Fight. I don't know what it is with this scenario but I just absolutly love the look, the industrial design and textures, the massive pillars with several wired falling down and this never abyss, man I love it
Well, first and last game awards I wacthed, we where robbed, but what exactly to espect...it has been this way or almost 17 so...yeah. And also Silent Hill 2 didn't win best soundtrack...I mean...just...it was robbed Note: Come to think, we weren't robbed, we just a false sense of hope.
