Ah yes, the Legend of Zelda meets Quake

A side project of mine. I always had my HL1 shit be in Black Mesa or equivalent places, so why not something completely unrelated to Black Mesa?

Making some steady progress on the opening for chapter one "New Orders", this is where Kovac's journey begins.

He is captured and unsuccessfully interrogated by HECU stragglers, before being shot, dropped down a silo shaft and left for dead. He survives, but has little health, no armour, no weapons, no radio and no idea where he is or where he's going. He'll have to make it through the silo exterior levels and the sewage system which feeds into the drainage canals in Sector G. Only then can he reach the warehouse where the grunts are, locate a working radio link and call command to report his position...

This is an obvious homage to the Blast Pit aesthetic, but with my own "fresh but familiar" style. Since this area connects with parts of Blue Shift's "Duty Calls", I've mostly kept to that kind of look and lighting.

Work in progress, some more details to be added, and enemies!

Spent a whole night fixing various bugs and had to do at least a small room to even things out. :)

I made this water and I think it looks much better than the default GoldSrc water. :)
