The authors behind CS mod "PROMOD" are back, with a brand new game: "Counter-Strike: Legacy" (it's not Classic Offensive btw) Unlike Classic Offensive, which tries to bring the essence of 1.6 to CS:GO, CS:Legacy is a remake of CS 1.6 made with the Source SDK. It will release as an early access, as a standalone game (unlike Classic Offensive, which is a CS:GO mod)

I didn't play CSCO but VALVe's attitude of removing it is a SHAME! - My Truth (WHAT I SAY BELOW MAY NOT BE TRUE): The VALVe team only removes mods from fan-games/multiplayer so as not to compromise the loss of players who will not buy skins in their games (Deadlock, CS2, TF2, DotA 2) . In singleplayer (Half-Life/Portal), this doesn't happen (I could be wrong, but that's what I believe).

Deadlock is the next game from VALVe that had images leaked last week by Gabe Folllower. It will be a TPS (Third Person Shooter), with cartoonish aesthetics and classes from TF2, the fantasy of DotA 2, competitive multiplayer (6v6) from the Counter-Strike franchise.
