As some of you are aware, Kralich recently made the difficult decision to step down from LambdaBuilds to focus on other projects. Those who follow him will know he is working on the upcoming Portal: Prelude RTX remaster, which requires a lot of his attention. LambdaBuilds was only ever possible because of Kralich’s profound experience with Source mapping and dedication to the modding community. Without him we are not confident we can pull future competitions off to a standard we would be happy with. The rest of our team is also extremely overloaded developing our platform, and we would like to focus on that right now, so we can keep pushing new features and expanding it. As a result, we have made the tough decision to end our LambdaBuilds competitions for the foreseeable future. This was not an easy decision, as we really enjoyed hosting LambdaBuilds, and had plans for future themes. There is, however, only so much we can do.
