Counter-strike is now only getting love and appreciation on Source2. Even Half-Life got the WON era menu back. Now Counter-Strike 1.6 can have it back too. I added a wide-screen background, using a screenshot I took from de_dust and the original background from CS 1.5. The original menu sounds were also restored. With Half-Life's 25th Anniversary Update, they restored the Valve intro video. Although something was missing. Widescreen background





Changing the background of goldsrc will be easier than ever. No more cropping TGAs or creating layout files. Just import the PNG or BMP you want to use, and everything else is automatic. The tool will also let you export the mod's background to a PNG, in case you need the full image.
