Drawing up concepts for Half-Life: Particle Fusion after a burst of inspiration to finally start planning more stuff out. Mulled over these ideas for years and I think I'm finally ready to start acting on them! Here's a dig site on a new location for the player to explore occupied by Race-X forces and some familiar but "new" faces. More to come soon!

So here's what I've been working on as of late! Take a look at the map remake! Behold! My unreleased map, City 7, reborn! I'm still working on getting it into a compilable state but it is very close to completion. It will be for OpFor deathmatch. I may or may not make two versions, one with CTF powerups and one without. The gimmick for this map is low gravity with moving barnacle grapple points to fly around the map, making it very fast paced.

Meet Kevin, our friendly default construction guy face! Basing his head off of Einstein's PS2 head, I smoothed out and reshaped most of it to the point where it no longer bears much of a resemblance to the original. Now instead we have a (balding) man that looks like he's stepped straight out of a 70s timewarp (at least when he takes his helmet off)!

Pretty cool right? Well, maybe not the old model, but the new one certainly looks cool, I think! So now then as you can see, I started to unwrap and texture the model (though the textures were created first, actually)! Pretty faithful to the original construction worker model, eh? Enjoy!

Remember Danny's disembodied head? Well, I've just finished his body! Have some timelapse screenshots of his body being created, as well as a screenshot of what it USED to look like 5 years ago! Starting with Romka's (weird) massn mesh, I smooth out several bits of the mesh, pulled the PS2 scientist's shirt over, tweaked it and filled in the blanks (as the massn's torso needed to be replaced). More in next post.

It's been awhile since I've posted anything, but I have a major announcement to make... the protagonist of Particle Fusion finally has a final look (...well sort of, his body is still a work in progress)! Here he is in all of his glory, Daniel "Danny" Wallace! As a maintenance worker, he's seen some pretty crazy things, and hardly gets any sleep. Keeping Black Mesa running is a tough job, y'know! (Anyone that can guess what character from what game I used as a reference gets a nice big fat kiss!~)

I'm still working on the PS2 HD variant which will actually be the one used in Half-Life: Particle Fusion, this one is just for modders out there that want to use content made in the style of the HD pack for their own mods.

Don't have any more laboratory props to show at this point, since I haven't ran into the need for more yet, so here's some remakes of the "uplant" model set that goes up to 3 normally. I've created a 4th bonus one for fun, and to possibly use as seaweed or a patch of grass!
