You can help us break the all-time peak record by playing Half-Life 2 yourself as well. Or atleast, have it running on Steam while you watch any of the streams happening. Hi all! You might have heard the news, but a couple of YouTubers and myself are trying to break the all-time peak concurrent players record for Half Life 2. On August 14th, we request you launch Half-Life 2 and just play for at least an hour or so. Enough to let the chart websites record your session. The first milestone is the SteamCharts record at 6,886 players. The second and final milestone is the SteamDB record at 12,000 players. Thank you!
