Okay, I don't know if you knew that or not, but I just found out about it today. Anyone remember "The Underground"? The Underground is a video series animated by Gleb Lvov and formerly produced by Machinima. In it, there is a core called the Interview Core who hosts a talk show where "the rejected are respected and the best-case has no place." It takes place in two forgotten locations within the Aperture Laboratories. Currently, there are six released episodes, and features a cast consisting of new cores, a turret band, the Mainframe and the Party Escort Bot. It started in 2011 and ended in 2012, but I just found out that it's back, with new visual effects, new voice actors, and new episodes to be made. If you like things about Portal or SFM, then I recommend you go to the burgerScum channel where you can watch all the episodes they have made.

In the development of Half Life 2 as a goal and tradition, the team created a piñata scanner which would be hit when the game was finished. Unlike HL1's headcrab piñata, this time the closest thing to a Stun Baton was used, with Gabe Newell being the first to hit the piñata.
