Old concept art for the SFM serie "EXILE / VILIFY" (2021) (Doug Rattman) Since i've seen the GarryShitman version of my origin conceptart of Doug Rattman, i've decided to speak about the Exile/Vilify Project. "EXILE - We follow Chell, the mute protagonist from Portal 2. We pick up directly where Portal 2 left off, with Chell discovering that the surface is not what it used to be. The world is still recovering from the Combine invasion during Half-Life 2 and Chell just happens to discover some of the last remaining Combine." "VILIFY - Still following Chell, she awakens in a stasis chamber with no recollection of her past or how she got here. However, she can talk! We follow her as she makes her journey through a forgotten, flooded test course. The Aperture Science Computer-Aided Mandatory Fitness Course and Cake Dispensary. This course is run by a mysterious being named Elliot, played by Colin Wyckoff. These two series will be connected in possibly unexpected ways." "what if the rebels find Doug Rattmann and heal him from his gunshot at his thigh ?" Right now the SFM serie is in standby. But maybe one day we'll be capable to do more stuff about it ! u ever have like. a character from a media you really like and end up making one that's very similiar. yeah idk if its a character or more of like a character concept. But made a xen memory worm that went rouge, killed the staff at a combine facility and absorbed the barin chemestry of everyone there, allowing it to talk human language and in several of them. It controls the whole facility, it let xen growth over run it, also because it helps it keeping control better. From outisde it looks like a combine interference computer covered in growth, and the worm rarely if ever shows itself. Idk yet whatever to make it a villain (wants to absorb as many people as possible) or if its just after the combine, which it rightfully hates for using its species as living batteries, tho i like the second option better.
