I present to you all, "Black Mesa Recruitment Center". I have a plan to use this for my mod or maybe a mod that I have been working on? By anyway, the inspiration of this building comes from Vault-Tec Headquarter located right in Washington D.C. (Fair warning tho, the sign in there is just a placeholder)

According to Richard Lord, Wheatley would have been considered during the development of Portal 2 to have a small internal robotic arm, that would come out of him and use that arm to move around (this idea was abandoned for technical reasons).

And this thing, about a personality core with a robotic arm, immediately made me think of Grady's design.

Now, I have two theories about this:

1. This abandoned idea from Portal 2 was recycled for Grady's design.

2. It's just a coincidence.

What do you think folks?

So here's what I've been working on as of late! Take a look at the map remake! Behold! My unreleased map, City 7, reborn! I'm still working on getting it into a compilable state but it is very close to completion. It will be for OpFor deathmatch. I may or may not make two versions, one with CTF powerups and one without. The gimmick for this map is low gravity with moving barnacle grapple points to fly around the map, making it very fast paced.
