You know how Marc Laidlaw said that bullsquids and houndeyes, even though we don't see them in Half-Life 2, are still out there somewhere, fighting for survival? Well, I was wondering if something similar could be said about the rocket turret in Portal 2. I mean, even if we don't see it in Portal 2, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore.
