From the personal archives: at one point few years back, I was messing about with an idea for a new fan-made Ricochet game that would build on the foundation and greatness of the original. The concept included new power-ups such as Boomerang Disc, Penta Disc (sends 5 discs in different directions upon killing the enemy) and Thrust Pack. It would also feature new mechanics such as wallrunning, with platforms for players to wallrun across scattered around the edges of the map. It would also feature new modes such as One Flag CTF. The general idea was kind of a mix of original Ricochet, Unreal Tournament and Free Run mode from Call of Duty Black Ops 3. Needless to say, it never made it past the concept stage and the logo you can see above. Would it have been fun? Only those living in parallel universe might now. Perhaps jumping into the cosmic wormhole would transport us there...
