LambdaGeneration users! How did you met with this platform - from where you've discovered about its existence & what is your story behind it? *I remember I've met with this platform at September 2023 from one user from ScrapTF (we're still subsrcibed on each other on Tumblr btw). My question in my first raffle there was "What are the best platforms for promoting & showcasing my TF2-related arts?" - from where I've received the answer that LambdaGeneration is a good place for that. So now I'm here, duh. (the image isnt connected to post's message, dont be scared fellas)
I dunno, just kinda popped out of @alex's keyboard
And just like a real child, you are the bane of my existence.
so whos the mother
Well @david co-programmed this thing 🤷♂️🤣
who the fuck is david
I urge you to familiarise yourself with our team, a lot of hard work goes into this from many people!

Well, I can't answer your question exactly, but I can tell you why I created it! I started LambdaGeneration in 2010, when at school. The idea was quite simple, I wanted to create a place that would promote Valve community content that was going unnoticed. At the time, there were several Valve fansites, however most of them only cared about official Valve news and Half-Life 3 rumors, or were exclusively only about modding. There wasn't much for everything in between - there was really cool fan art, fan films, machinima etc. that was hard to find, so I wanted to fix that. In addition, which is extremely relevant for what we are working on next, is I am extremely passionate about fan communities, and the power they have to bring people together.
Awesome 👍
Thanks for creating this site its amazing met alot of interesting people :)
I've known about this site for a long time but it was only recently I decided to actually make an account mainly just so I could connect with other Valve fans.
i have no fucking clue how i got here nor how do i get out
watched the main channel so after a while i decided to join. I didn't really do much after I made my account because I was already part of a community (tc2 wiki). eventually i left because that place was a shithole. in its place i was part of a small bob burger discord server. then one day it disappeared. cant tell if i was banned or if it was deleted which was a shame 'cause it was a neat little server. after a while of trying to find people to talk to i came here. thanks y'all for being friendly and welcoming. i love you all <3
i discovered the site through shifting the bar, and i decided to make an account so i could share a thing i made for shifting the bar and also share other valve-related things i make.
that reminds me, i need to finish posting those hl2 memes
pinterest.
someone put up a pin linking back to this website
so i was using flashpoint and searched half life for some half life flash games and i found the half life 25th anniversary adventure game and i was like 'oooo that looks fun' and the rest is history.
I heard of LambdaGeneration for a few months, but when I saw the logo repeated across Entropy: Zero as a Lambda Locator style achievement, it was only a matter of time before I signed up.
Saw it on youtube, yehh
Found out about it on the discord. Figured it was a good way to get me some more publicity.
from twitter dot com the worst place ever i saw a tweet from the lambdageneration account of vortiguant in convenience store from job simulator and is pissed about big gulp cup or something
I wanted to look for memes or post material and then I discovered this community. Although I have followed the Facebook page and YouTube channel since its inception
