I think the biggest thing in this anniversary is not Half-Life 2 getting workshop support, nor Ravenholm getting some nice fog effects, nor the Episodes being integrated into HL2, and not even the new commentary nodes. I've had this Game Boy for 23 years, ever since it was launched in 2001 Today I've modernized it with a modern IPS display with a backlight, a USB-C rechargeable lithium battery (so long AA batteries), and a fresh semi-transparent shell. Looks and feels amazing, kinda mind blowing... brings back memories of being fascinated with it as a kid. Thinking of upgrading the speaker next, with fresh capacitors
