Fun fact: In the Resized maps from Garry's Mod (addon made by Mr. Lazy), in the giant room that the Nihilanth teleports you to, there is an organic light that trusts the scientist (image 1) but hides when I get close (image 2). The light's not in actual Half-Life, so it's not official, but I still found it notable enough to make a post about it
