"Meet the Dell" - Original Character Showcase

Born in Bee Cave, Texas in 1940, even as a child young Dell showed signs of unimaginable genius in the fields of engineering, mathematics and physics. A benevolent and good-natured American, but at the same time vengeful and always purposeful on the path of killing his enemy by any means (even if not by his own hands, but by the forces of his ingenious buildings & devices) the specialist immediately came to the attention of the director of Mann. Co in the first place. By that time, Dell was no longer surprised by his work responsibilities and difficulties, having 11 PhD's from a variety of scientific fields & long engineering practice in West Texas mines.

If you still think that it is bloody impossible to expect anything serious from this low middle-age man in a silly green cap, who is telling corny dad jokes to cheer up his mates... If you think that you have right to insult an' blaming him for fun: as Dell said by himself once, when pulled up his fully-loaded shotgun in fullfiling rage - "𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘣𝘰𝘺!".

"𝘐 𝘵𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘢 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨."

Big Dreamer - TF2/Blender

In 1977 the voted my city the most dangerous place to live in America. Main issues? Sky high rate of weaponries selling, corporations taked control over the government, rapid tech progress and highest unemployment over the world. Can't deny it - it's all true! But everybody still wants to live here.
After Mann Co. monopolised all country's manufactures with not so civil methods, its don't need mercenaries no more - they all already fired! Their job is done!
But now you and them need to choose wisely - promises in Mann City easily might be a lie, an illusion. But it's there... Just around the corner...

And it keeps you going.

Again

I don't wanna see how this game is slowly dying, while Valve is doing nothing with it. Yeah, Team Fortress 2 is supporting by players and many enthusiasts in community for more than 15 years for now, but this is not enough for that big multiplayer project (even so Valve is multi-billion dollars company still).
6-year bot-crisis, cheaters, cancelling of Source 2 TF2 version, falling of items servers and more...
I understand that if Valve will don't want to do something with their game by themselves - then community's tryings are little bit useless. But we are not losing anything for doing that - I (personally) just love this game from all my heart. And I want to see much brighter future for TF2 than it's have right now.
We can just try. Let's have even a little hope to best. 🤝

The 2023 has come to an end.
During this time, a lot of things happened to me and in my TF2 journey - the first attempt to create a YouTube TF2 channel, learning the first basics of trading, joining the ScrapTF and LambdaGeneration communities, moving on to creating my posters from Garry's Mod (uncomfortably anxious) to Blender, the first unusual hat in my inventory...
Looking at what Valve are doing and undertaking from year to year and seeing how veterans of game leaving it day after day, thoughts appear about the not-so-prosperous continuation of the life of this franchise in the next few years (same about Counter-Strike, sadly). I realize that I likely came into this game and its mini-world fairly late in its life, which makes me a "late era" fan. A kind of TF2's Cretaceous period.
I created myself in this universe, my own character with whom I associate myself (alter-ego?), met a few players who resonated with my thoughts and jokes in game, even took part in my first MvM Moonlight events (which was also the best experience for me). And spending my free time in it, I realize more and more how many problems this game and its community actually have - a six-year bot crisis, NSFL pictures on sprays and signs, the huge presence of racists, homophobic and xenophobic individuals in the community of all kinds, awfully looking community-maded hats from the bottom of workshop and more...
What do I want to say with my poem? - I truly love Team Fortress 2, with all its shortcomings and remnants of failed past updates. I don’t like random crits, cheaters, overpowered weapons/mechanics, toxics, ruined guns that had good potential initially - but this is also part of the history of this game tho. Of course TF2 is not a masterpiece, but it has earned its place in media-culture.
I love Team Fortress 2. I enjoy this game and my leisure time with it. And I don't care what others thinks and says about me.
Happy New Year! Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
