What's everyone's favourite official G-Man speech? Options are: Half-Life Opposing Force Half-Life 2 Opening Half-Life 2 Ending Heart to Heart Half-Life: Alyx I personally find it difficult to pick, as I love them all (obviously). But one of my favourite lines from him is the way he says "I am impressed." in the original.

ep2's speech is definitely my favorite
Heart to Heart has very mysterious and ominous atmosphere to it. The transitions and sounds, visual effects on Gman itself are stunning, even to this day. It is probably the best fictional character speech in the entire gaming industry.
This is too tricky, they all are amazing performances from Michael Shapiro! I actually want to give the Op4 one some love, it’s underrated!

"Quite a *nasty* piece of work you managed overr there! I am impresssed..." [in a sly tone] My favorite is Ep2's, I think the fact that it came as a surprise to me, and how intriguing his request was ("wait, what do you want with Alyx...?"), helped elevate it to the top for me, but I do like how the visual aspect of it was executed. I like how he is not consistent, all of his speeches are different, and this, coupled with the ever changing details of his appearance, adds to his mystique. This... thing... is always changing and you can never tell what he is going to do or say whenever he shows up, and that's great.
As an aside, it's not part of your question, but my favorite unofficial one is the EZ2 one. I loved the visual of Gman on the deck of the Borealis, observing the shifting event horizon as it warped past the ship. I walked slowly towards him, saying to myself "I figured I would find you in a place like this."

It is indeed a hard choice but I think... my personal favorite is between Heart to Heart and Half Life 1 speech (because it was just SOO intriguing and confusing and engaging to hear it the first time). Heart to Heart too, it had a very gloomy, ominous atmosphere as if foreshadowing something grave that would happen (and did). Maybe leaning more towards Heart to Heart
