If you're looking to play a lot of HL, OpFor or even HL2 maps/mods then you could look into doing what I'm doing currently at RTSL - going through their entire HL1 map and mod archive in chronological order and leaving reviews for each release. It really helps to give some structure and process for ticking off completed mods. I'll assume everyone knows about RTSL here - runthinkshootlive.com/hl/. When browsing HL1 mods you can use their awesome filtering and sorting options to easily sort from oldest to newest and then to see which ones you have and haven't reviewed. I've found this a great method for injecting more HL into my play schedule and highly recommend it (esp if you have ADHD like me)!

A real shame RTSL is no longer active, or at least what it was. Phillip come back!
That is a shame :( Guess Philip has left the Planet. Actually, there's updates from Mar 2023 so looks to still be active? I did send an email about a frontend website bug a few weeks ago but haven't received a reply yet tho.
I still talk to Phillip from time to time, he’s not involved in RTSL or HL in any way now though.
RTSL just isn't the same without Philip, yes. :(
RTSL to be honest has i think smallest collection of maps and mods compared to TWHL or Moddb. FOr me, one of the biggest place to HL1 maps - was city17 ru...
but it's curated. you have reviews, hall of fame, and tables where you can sort and filter absolutely everything to your hearts' content. but since Philip retired the site barely gets updates. really sad.
yeah. which means you pay attentions not as much as all mods and maps, but for that they have been tolded is better.
Yeah, exactly. Being able to leave reviews as well as sorting by unreviewed/date submitted gives some structure to playing through a large back catalog of maps and mods. Other sites have more items overall but none seem to have this functionality (other than RTSL)
