I just wanna say something about the helmet misconception Gordon has his helmet on the entire first half of half-life 1 The 2 HECU Soldiers of course have to identify that that is Freeman and remove his helmet then drag him away From then on out, Gordon has no helmet on the second half of hl1 and the entirety of hl2

really neat theory but counterpoint: the suit addresses claw attacks as lacerations, which probably implies he has exposed skin regardless of apprehension
Gordon never has a helmet on :troll:
How did he survive radiation then?
But that means Xen would need to have breathable Oxygen, which it most likely doesn't because there don't seem to be any atmospheres. Yes, I know I sound like, "uMM ACCCCCCtually there ijs no OCSHIJEN in SHJEN 🤓🤓🤓".
Considering Barney survived in xen then i guess it's obvious xen has some kind of atmosphere.
One counter-point: The HUD still exist.
Counter argument: Barney

no he obviously has a pocket for his helmet which is where he puts it when he doesn't need it, duh
It's actually Schrödinger's helmet. Gordon is in a constant state of wearing it and not-wearing it until directly observed. For real tho, I think he just carries it around with the rest of his arsenal and puts it on whenever he needs it. If ya boy can carry 10+ weapons around without a problem, he can carry a helmet.
Fuck it, him wearing a helmet don’t matter. He’s actually butt naked.
Also this post is an assumption. They could have just as easily seen his face without removing it if he never had it anyway.
i think it's more of a fun what-if scenario where if gordon has a helmet > x happens, rather than an assumption. the ambush marines remove it to maybe stay in line with his appearances in bs + op4
That is true. And to oppose my claim, I can be proven wrong by the same logic I used. Both are assumptions and both are plausible. So really we’re just as right as each other.
He is definitely naked under the suit.
