It seems finished enough, but it's completely different from original Alyx and in my opinion the changes are not for the better

nah it really isn't, her materials are from an unused model, and a lot of the facial features are insanely bad

That's the version of her model from 2007, not the 2004 one.

cause it's unfinished and we only see the model at the very end of the game showing ep2's ending

mfw the model thats exclusively used in dark settings from afar is worse than the model you see for 75% of half-life 2 and the episodes
That is true, however this model is now being used in EVERY SINGLE SFM which makes my eyes burn. So yes, and no.
Maybe the 2019 version is just not finished? A lot of things are missing.
I wouldn't say an uglier and older face is something that is missing. It's just not the same Alyx, more like her aunt.
