New branch called test added to Half-Life 2
Remember that the half-life 25th anniversary update branch was also called test.
But don't get super hyped, lets wait and see.
What I mentioned above is due to a consecutive theory where this year, HL2 will complete 20 years and VALVe will correct 25 years in the style of HL1. In the same way as Half-Life Alyx in 2025 for 5 years and 2026, launches HL3. If it doesn't happen, no problem, at least I theorized.
Wasn't the guy who made Half-Life 2: Update making a so-called "Half-Life 2 Remastered Collection" that got blessings from Valve?
It was said to have updated graphics and workshop support, alongside bundling the episodes along the base game in one. Could it be that they're about to release this as an official update for the aniversary?
Community has already made a better Hammer editor. Also it's way easier to just make a desktop shortcut or a shortcut to your folder of choice to click on instead of booting up Half-Life 2 just to open Hammer.

If we do ever get a twenty year anniversary update I really wanna see valve release the free tvs demo to the public.

it should be that in the game options, you can press "Hammer Editor" in the adv. options
no something like portal 2's map editor or that one mario maker 64 rom hack or J.A.C.K
Portal 2 chamber creator doesn't even have the full potential of hammer.
