GoG is holding out pretty well, it's a great DRM free friendly launcher and a unique alternative for Steam and especially old games that (most) work straight out of the box without any modification on the game files.
I use both GoG and Steam combined. :)
Origin was decent until EA decided to just throw out everything for some reason
GoG is probably the best runnerup, but their weird anti-Linux stance is really dumb, not to mention an increasing amount of DRM free stuff on Steam
third party launcher is a big sign of self centered game studios

I like the paradox game launcher becuse im a huge HOI4 fan
i'm sorry but GOG is the only other one that this as good as steam, because you don't need it at all to play the games on it
