Good morning Gordon.
What if...Valve decided to follow Quake's footsteps and re-release Half-Life in a new Enhanced Edition? Featuring the return of the original 1998 menu UI, while at the same time updating it to be Steam-friendly! #HalfLife
We live in a timeline where Among Us is officially no longer the most played Steam game. The challenger that took the crown? Half-Life 2! We won, Mr. Freeman, we won. #BreakingtheBar
Who remembers logging in to Lambda Generation back in 1999? #retro
Warning: The Freeman has entered the facility! DOOM Eternal but all audio is from Half-Life 1
Blast from the past. HalfLife2.net (now ValveTime.co.uk) front page, circa August 2005. While nowadays ValveTime seems to be fading into obscurity, I'm glad that Half-Life fansites are still a thing thanks to this. This is like the saving grace of them, and I hope this site can successfully recapture the spirit of community-run HL websites back in the day.
Black Mesa - Game menu re-redesign concept, modernising the old Source-styled design making it both desktop and controller-friendly at the same time. Inspired by Doom Eternal’s menu.
When you replace every single sound effect on anything, e.g. animated shows, with Half-Life sound effects, the results can be outstandingly hilarious.
If both Discord and LambdaGeneration existed back in 1998... (Mockup image made by me!)
Bunnyhopping Gordon is canon in the HL universe.
