Blast from the past.

HalfLife2.net (now ValveTime.co.uk) front page, circa August 2005.

While nowadays ValveTime seems to be fading into obscurity, I'm glad that Half-Life fansites are still a thing thanks to this. This is like the saving grace of them, and I hope this site can successfully recapture the spirit of community-run HL websites back in the day.

2005 was the year I was born Here's hoping there will be an option to make Lambdageneration look like a mid-2000s Half Life fan website

I actually once suggested a 2003 Steam-styled theme or even a HTML-styled look designed to mimic sites seen during the era where Half-Life and/or Half-Life 2 was new, I hope it can be implemented :)

Half-Life: A Place in the West

Oh my God. That IS a blast from the past. I joined in 2004.

Needless to say, when HL2 came around I was still too young to touch a computer let alone playing Half-Life 2 but especially exploring the world that is the wonderful internet. Still, with delectation, I hereby grant you a veteran's discount!
