(I guess I'll post this in fan music??? idk) I just found out that there was a thing in the early 2000s called "MTV Video Mods", which were music videos that were made in different video game engines for popular songs of that era. And this video is a Half-Life 2 machinima music video for "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin that was made before sfm was a thing. T H I S W A S A I R E D O N T V (If you don't believe me look at the comments). I just found it interesting and felt like sharing this…

Made a lil' music and figured out how to make models with multiple texture groups/skins (the main model for these dudes has 24 different skins). This is a concept map for an office themed level that's populated with these office dudes. I plan on having RPG elements in my mod, mainly a dialogue system, so when you would press E on one of these guys then a text box will pop up at the bottom of the screen. Tho I am very much under skilled in coding and making entities so that's gonna take a bit lol…

I decided to turn this worker clone dude from my old hl1 mod I made in High-school and make a full on updated model of him for the mod I'm working on now. Plus I also tried doing some stuff and make it where the thing can emote with different transparent textures on there own 3D planes and it works pretty well, like switching the faces out to make it look like blinking in an idle animation and stuff looks pretty good!

Progress on turning my hl1 player model of myself (the only thing that's making this related to hl) into a Quake 2 player model. I've had to animate all the animations for the character, got it exported right with help of a person from the quake modding discord I visit, and now it works in-game... Kind of... The character is working fine but the weapon models that they hold is separate from the actual model. I've done the proper animations for those as well but whenever I try to export a md2 model on my end it doesn't load that model in-game. For example, I tried exporting the shotgun model but in game when using it, it looks like the player model is trying to air guitar a dude to death. Which is kinda funny but it's not what I'm trying to do lol. I would ask that same guy to help me out exporting but I feel I should get it sorted on my end cuz it feels like a dumb thing to ask people to do when I probs have the answer to my lil' conundrum right in front of me (that and Quake 2 got quite a bit of weapon models).
