Found an old dev screenshot from 2017 showing the various houndeye variants from RainFall in a testmap, to this day all 3 of these models are still in use in Signal Lost!

Breens personal scanner? Nah it's just a model I made to replace the original npc_cscanner model from hl2.
The Alpha's used for the Ornaments are from www.textures.com

I just learnt about a community mod for Half-Life 2 called Half-Life 2 Remastered Collection. All I know is that it is being developed by Filip Victor (creator of hl2: update) and that the mod runs on a version of the source engine used in csgo so that the graphics are turned up to 11. I also noticed that the file size is around 16gb but I think that it is because the episodes are included in this “collection.” Does anyone know any more info?

Yes this is source. Specifically it's Actually Good Source ( AGS )
The entire level geometry is made of models. CSM and SSR helps a lot. All Materials are PBR, except for a single brush used to compile lighting and the refract shader used by the little crystal data storage things
