Underhell has some horror elements mixed into it Another one you could try is Lost And Damned, it replicates gameplay from the older Resident Evils. I dunno if it’s a horror mod though

that's ok, If I could recommend something I don't think its horror but paranoia HL1 mod seems cool

It's not "horor" but it got that dark atmosphere and its one of the best mods: Transmissions: Element 120. You should try it!
Yeah, it is pretty spooky at times. Maybe I can do that gnome achievement while I'm at it!
