It is using engine that used in Titanfall, where is heavily upgraded version of source. You did not see source in there, because there is no brushes and absolutely different shaders. Not even mention different art design for maps and models
What if Half-Life Alyx or Portal 2 were made on Titanfall's Source engine ?
It would probably would look alike Source 2
very modified version of the engine, crazy how other companies handle the Source
