Just a reminder folks that although the recent discoveries look promising, there’s no actual evidence this is Half-Life 3! I have been around long enough to see every single ‘leak’ since Episode 2 be hyped up as Half-Life 3, to then not be it (if anything at all). At this point it honestly feels like the scene from Groundhog Day, where the same event just keeps repeating over and over. Each time you want to hope it’s the one, but this already happened a million times before. I even remember with the Portal radio ARG, everyone thought it was Half-Life 3, and people even went as far to hype Adrian Shephard returning because there was some silhouette in one of the images that vaguely looked like him. That turned out to be Portal 2! Do I think Valve is working on something Half-Life related? Yes. Do I think it’s literally Half-Life 3? Probably not. (but we hope 🥲)

I've been a fan too long to get excited about this. IMO, until they say it's so, it ain't so. Everything else is clickbait.

The X in HLX no doubt stands for “Half Life Xen” I think it might actually be a prequel with all the zen leaks and stuff
People forget how Valve works, the datamining you found on Valve games are leftovers from other projects that they stick with one project they want, so there is no solid evidence of one project on the works that we know. this is a practice that's equally old as Valve, take a look on HL music files being called "prospero"

About the same event keeps repeating over and over is truly the description of #SaveTF2 and #FixTF2 events, that happening every single time when TF2 experiencing huge bots troubles. I'm wondering for how many years will that continuing
Maybe it's either another project or a Half-Life continuation, but Half-Life 3 it won't be
My hopes are there but on the other side it sounds too good to be true... hard case. I'll reserve the joy for when something is officially announced.
