Ok so I just woke up from a new Half-Life trailer dream thing Valve were showing off Source 2 tech at a tradeshow or something, going through stuff like water simulation, snow, before it slowly pulled out over the Arctic, as two Resistance helicopters ala the one seen at the end of Ep2 fly over the tundra, catching up with two drop ships carrying gunships (for some reason), before the Resistance copters manage to shoot down the two dropships. The two helicopters are eventually shot down by a third gunship, before one last helicopter comes out to shoot it down, succeeding, but taking too much damage, beginning to crash as we hear Dr. Kleiner's voice warning Gordon to take the copter down as slowly as he can as it plummets into the snow. Cut to the crashed helicopter, as it pulls away, up to the cliff face as a new Hazardous Environments-esque Mike Morasky song plays, showing Gordon, Eli and Barney looking at a Combine installation, as HALF-LIFE 5 pops up. ...I am severely disappointed that this was a dream lol
Plot twist: That was not a dream. You had a vision from the future.
I wish.
Eli ? It would be really fun if leader of whole resistance is showing up almost in enemy base almost alone. I even say that life teach him nothing, but that part was kinda reset...
Probably went with Gordon to the Borealis to find Alyx? I mean he already knows something's up after Alyx got yoinked out of space and time in the end of HL:A
as i say. He is a reader of Resistance. Just imagine if he would kindapped third time, or killed second ? like, what resistance do then ?
He's also a father, his daughter got kidnapped, and I wouldn't put it past a concerned father to jump in the line of fire to save his daughter. Eli made it through Black Mesa, I think he could make it through the arctic, with support from Barney or any other competent resistance member
he was kidnapped twice in HL2. I don't know about you, but i definitely does not have any fate in him
