It is not possible to restore every cut/beta stuff into the game without altering the game too much. Which i don't want. Half-Life: Restored became more like definitive way to play Half-Life instead beta stuff being restored.
Then why not rename the mod, if there's nothing else that you want to or can restore? If the mod is focused solely on new additions, why not rename it to something like Half-Life: Re-Energized or something like that.
I thought about it but mod had a name change once, I don't want to confuse people even further. Name "Restored" can be stretched for anything actually.
Trinity
trinity
trinity
trinity
Not using Trinity.
not trinity but sprinity
not sprinity but half life
not half life but half life source
not half life but half
Maybe MetaRenderer?
then it's not "restored" anymore, just looks like half life source now
Those shaders and trinity render stuffs are doing a bit more than "restoring" Half-Life. I don't think you should.
man cant wait to run rtx shaders on my 1998 pc
I'm scared, also idk
I tried to play Half-Life: Restored but it just doesn't work. It didn't even launch, lmao.
You need to own original Half-Life.
Oh well...
Also, other Half-Life Steam mods such as C.A.G.E.D. work properly.
HL:R is hardly restored as is, this just makes it into discount HL:S without ragdolls and the HL2 sounds.

How can you restore something that wasn't originally implemented though?
