Ice axe Im making for my Half-Life inspired game. 240 polygons, 256x texture.
Although I know very little about GoldSource models (In-game photo is a mockup), if anyone wants to use it for a mod of theirs, I can share the model's files

Texture should be 128x and the model needs fewer details. Otherwise, great job!

Fair enough with the texture size. HL1 has its textures split across multiple images, so it's hard to tell what is the proper size, but I don't think the details are too out of ordinary. The POV weapons (not the ones on the ground) are about 500 polygons total, so this axe isn't unreasonable to have in late 90s. If you mean details as normal maps, then that's just the way I like doing my retro models. I usually keep normals, roughness, metallic etc. in tact and have just the texture pixelated. I know not everybody likes that, so I'm working on an option in-game to turn the details off if anybody wishes to have their models more faithful to the retro look
