People give CM way too much hate. It's actually pretty decent if you just play the mod with the standard Valve models for the main characters.
Agreed. Even then, some of the models are actually somewhat decent. For example, the HD Gman model that looks more like the original model, and there's also an HD Alyx model that looks sort of like the original. I don't have problems with those models, but at the same time they aren't something I'd use in vanilla HL2 or my modded HL2.
MMOD and CM are the perfect duo if you want to replay HL2 and it's episodes. It's a shame that the community bullied the dude out of the Half-Life modding space.
I agree. Although I personally prefer not to mix MMod and CM together, but that's for personal reasons. I just feel like they're pretty different things and it's kinda weird for them to mix. Like, I treat them as different things. Although, I still do think MMod and CM are pretty cool together.
People give it way too much hate because of the optional Alyx models. FakeFactory may have been a bit of a horny dude making this, but some of the other graphical work is very impressive.
