I don't know what it is about characters in Half-Life but they always have such good names:
Gordon Freeman, Eli Vance, Alyx Vance, Isaac Kleiner, Barney Calhoun, Arne Magnusson, Odessa Cubbage, Russel, Frank, Chester, Lazlo.
They're all a perfect balance of ordinary and unique, and fit the world so well. I wonder how Valve comes up with them...

I always wonder if the names Freeman and Mossman were intentionally chosen to be similar or if it was a coincidence
