Well, I was finally able to make some progress on this XD (I was quite busy with some commissions). Sorry for not being able to show much, after a month since my last post. This time I could only make a radical change to the texture of the model. I'm working on the attack animations (one main attack and 3 melee). I hope to show the results soon ;D #Minecraft

Will it have alternate textures? It'd be cool to see ones based on their purple-ish glowing textures in Episode 1 and the old original texture from the leak and original release.
I might do it, although for the moment I'm only focusing on the HL1 creatures/variants; although for the Vortigaunt I used the HL:A 3D model as a reference. What I do have is this Vortigaunt Slave version
