I’ve only finished sketching these pages. I have been procrastinating on this a lot.
I am pleased to properly announce I am currently working on a comic adaptation of Valves iconic first-person puzzle game Portal. It will be retold in three parts where it shows Chell going through the Aperture Science enrichment center solving puzzles with the top-secret portal gun as a computer voice guides her through the chambers. This like all portal mods will be made in my free time or when I feel like working on it. I have 4 other ideas I’m working on. 1 I’m already working on, three I’m …
When you realize Wheatley had never said his name up until “I did this! Tiny little WHEATLEY, did this!”
Early render test of a portal "animation" in blender I'm working on. The finale render have fog. Edit: Ok this will not happen for awhile cause I want it rendered as fast as possible using either eevee or cycles at low samples and finding a good optimizer is driving me nuts
New core eye designs to differentiate the knowledge core and Wheatley. The actual core designs are not finale For my comic adaptation of Portal 1
I’ll trace next time. I’m adapting portal into a comic.
A test I did in Blender. I wanted to see if I could make a scene in eevee ethereal I fake the indirect lighting instead of baking it. I achieved this by putting a large area light under the map and disabling shadows. I did this because baking indirect lighting and rendering a frame in cycles takes forever! This on the other hand speeds up the process with each frame set to 256 takes only about half a minute to render. Where I learned what I did (I think): youtube.com/watch?v=mbb32j…
Does anyone know how to import source models into blender with all the materials and all the shape keys with them like in sfm?
