I am pleased to properly announce I am currently working on a comic adaptation of Valves iconic first-person puzzle game Portal. It will be retold in three parts where it shows Chell going through the Aperture Science enrichment center solving puzzles with the top-secret portal gun as a computer voice guides her through the chambers. This like all portal mods will be made in my free time or when I feel like working on it. I have 4 other ideas I’m working on. 1 I’m already working on, three I’m already brainstorming on. Two of the brainstorming ones are original while the other is another video game adaptation (it’s not valve related). The way I’m drawing this is being done the traditional way. So I know what the environments should look like, I print out the necessary reference (Although I tend to print out more then I need), then glue them into a notebook. I’m making this for people who don’t want to play video games for a while but still want to obsess over their favorite games. Where I’m going to post this, I’m still thinking about though I am leaning toward Internet archive so people can download it as a pdf. I’ll also have a pdf in a way that people can print out and staple like a real comic book in case they hate reading digital stuff.
