My last poster

I think that sooner or later you can burn out in any hobby, especially if the skill ceiling in this hobby is low (or if there is no ceiling at all, but any further development in it is a turtle's step (i.e. insignificant)). But to burn out in your favorite hobby is pretty sad. That's what happened to me with SFM.
SFM is a truly unique 3D software - it is more like a sandbox compared to other programs, which, in turn, are like a construction site in their complexity and capabilities. The threshold in SFM is so low. But this is its main advantage - it allows people who have never been in the 3D industry to try it out. SFM has made so many talented people who became famous in other 3D softwares or even in other hobbies. But this same advantage is its enemy. And this enemy manifests itself with stagnation. 
The ceiling in this program is low, but not everyone realizes it, which is why it may seem that cool pictures that people make are impossible in this software from 2007. In fact, this impression is created because of the majority, who don't want to do anything and don't even try; and also because of the huge number of 'one-dayers' who come to the community for one day (who would have thought), doing exactly nothing, but asking ridiculous questions and then proceed to leave community the very same day.
I thought I still had at least some love for this program, I thought that I would just take a break from it for half a year, but I really am completely burned out. When I try to log into SFM again and try to do something in it, I feel empty. I do not do it because I want to, I do it simply because. This poster shows no dedication to what was once a favorite hobby of mine, no emotions invested in it. It exists simply because it has to, and its quality speaks for itself.

Sooner or later, you just have to quit.

I hate this program, but I can't deny that without SFM, I wouldnt know my friends now
