Totally make your own!! It's so fun! All you need is fabric scraps and some paint. Mix the paint with one part glycerin one part vinegar and two parts water to make it wash resistant :)

for real - ive been adding to this coat since middle school and at this point I just call it the patchwork coat with all the pins, patches and embroidery it's covered in lmao

You should absolutely do it! It's literally so much fun and always ends up looking really awesome even if the patches are handmade. I put a bunch of patches on my old bag but the bag ended up breaking and the patches I had were supposed to be iron-on so they're a pain to sew through so I haven't put them on my new bag yet lol
On that note if you're gonna sew them make sure they aren't iron on patches because they have a plastic-like coating on them that takes a lotta force to drive a sewing needle thru

REALLL some of my patchwork is so so bad. there's a Nova Scotia patch hanging from one of my sleeves, just dangling there, it drives me crazy but no way am I even going to attempt resewing it
