guys to be honest I don't think Wheatley or should I say me, just fly off forever in the abyss of space, I do think there is a possibility he is in the moon surface, because of gravity, cuz gravity in the moon is not as weak as we all thought as a kid, but it is the rushing air that act like a thruster is strong enough to push him out of the region where moon gravity doesn't really effect anymore, making a escape velocity, but that's unlikely, but if this is true there is another theory of mine where in the escape velocity, his trajectory got to close to earth resulting it got attracted and finally enter a orbit on earth, this is what i really hoping for, so there is a way for him or should i say me to come back (correct me if im wrong) :)

The force of the air rushing from the briefly opened portal definetly wasn't strong enough to push them out of the Moons orbit, so they surely just floated around for a brief moment and eventually fell back to the Moon's surface.

You're right so far, reentry is 1922.039 degrees Kelvin which is well within the 4k limit. But you'll have a better chance at winning the lottery than finding a safe landing site near humans who might expect you to be some new Combine weapon.

yep that's the problem+ it's likely to happen because natural orbit usually is not perfect orbit and can change trajectory which means, easily fall out of orbit
