Would anyone even use it like a month from now? There isn't a Dota 2 community because there's so little overlap between Dota and the rest of Valve's fanbase, and Deadlock is just another moba.

Huh I guess you do have a point, Dota is basicly the forgot to rest of Valve communities child. I guess we gonna have to wait. I think Deadlock gonna be a bit more connected then Dota.

Only time will tell, but I'll be surprised if the wider Valve community cares that much for Deadlock once the hype has died down.

Honestly, Every other Valve community is together becouse they all kinda link. Half-Life gave life to TF2, CS, DoD, is connected in universe with portal, gmod, L4D was born out of CS:S. You mostly cant talk about one without mentioning the other, especially with the older ones but Dota, CS2 and Deadlock dont give that VALVe vibe do they. Dota is tottaly diffrent, CS2 feels like avarage AAA game without that feel to it and Deadlock is new and also feels kinda weird from what I've seen comparing to rest of the games. And I dont feel like its Source's 2 fault becouse HL:A gives the VALVe vibe very wel.

Mobas just have a very particular community. They usually have large communities, but moba players mostly stick to mobas and fans of other games don't tend to go into mobas. Mobas are often very popular within their communities, but they have next to no cultural impact outside of them; I'm pretty sure the greatest cultural impact of LoL outside of its own community is people making fun of LoL players.

Lol, this is basicly what Dota and (propably) Deadlock will be
