Something I absolutely love about Half-Life and feel like isn't appreciated enough is the voice of the Nihilanth. It truly feels eldritch and it's something I think Black Mesa sort of fumbled on with Xen. It feels too generic, while in HL, it seems so unique and he speaks as if it's almost painful for him. I really hope whatever HLX ends up being goes into the lore of the Nihilanth more, similar to how it did with the G-Man.
