I recommend removing the keys for the other weapons and removing the option to rotate them with the mouse wheel.
(unbind the mouse wheel it's only possible with the console, for example, type on it: bind mwheelup +jump; bind mwheeldown +jump)
Its maybe because i either use the rocket launcher in exit 17 on soldiers and metrocops or i played the entire game on easy mode or just maybe i didnt start from the very beginning

you need to start from the beginning
also, you can only use the gravity gun, crowbar, granades and the rpg.
