I mean, in terms of the actual game industry, I'm sure Valve could find a good use to bring him back, but in terms of the actual game it's hard to tell at this point, Gman seems to always find a use for his employees 😂
Well now that we know that the Combine know about G-Man, I think that having Shepard telling people about him is no longer a problem, and he along with Alyx could be used as a substitute for Gordon.
If they made another co-op Half-Life game and didn't bring back Colette Green, I'd be so disappointed. Though Shephard's return would definitely be nice.
I agree, and I think it nice to see that Valve took a step back when making HL:A. There’s even a mural at one point with most Half-Life 1 enemies- but they left out bullsquids… again. It’s hard to choose at this point. After all, the entire Half-Life/Portal series has 7 playable characters (I’m counting the co-op missions as 1, because unless you’re lonely like me, you will only play one person.)
I think the real problem with brining Shepard back is that Opposing Force has not been officially considered canonical. Right now, it’s basically Schrödinger’s cat.
I guess so because Adrian Shephard has many skills. It is worth noting, however, that Gordon and Alyx were hired but Adrian was detained and it is possible that G-man is trying to get his employers to hire him
Hes probably the last HECU remaining, they were the hardened soldiers of earth vs. the aliens so of course gman would find him useful! also he killed all those race X alone, hes super powerful, idk why the gman wouldnt use him (valve ignores him though :( )

He would've been if Valve hadn't cancelled his next game that would've taken place after Half-Life 2.
Worth mentioning is that while Freeman is started to be "recruited" Shephard is said to be "detained".
No. He is white.

It would be nice to see G-Man assigning Alyx and Shepard to the same assignment.

You forgot the Vortigaunts from Decay's unlockable bonus level, Xen Attacks.
One of the series' writers confirmed that Black Mesa really was nuked, so it'd make a lot of sense if it were canon.
My bad, I never played Decay
I vaguely recall Gman putting adrian in the osprey in the middle of the void to "keep him from causing trouble" or something along those lines.
"Where you can do no harm and where no harm can come to you."

Man I would like to know how many right men (people or alien) G-Man has on hold just waiting to be put in the wrong place
